Welcome to the Christi Neubecker State Farm Agent office, proudly serving Rose City, MI and surrounding communities since 2014! With a background in teaching and a genuine passion for helping others, I love using my experience to educate customers about their insurance options so they feel confident and informed every step of the way. Our office is rooted right here in Rose City, and we proudly support families and businesses throughout the West Branch, Mio, Hale, and Lupton areas, as well as communities across Ogemaw, Oscoda, Arenac, and Iosco counties. We can provide coverage for the entire state of Michigan and have many customers that remain with us even after a move because they love working with us!
Our office energy is built around connection, teamwork, and consistency. Whether we’re collaborating as a team or working one-on-one with customers, the focus is always on building strong relationships and delivering coverage that truly fits real life. We enjoy bringing a positive, engaging spirit into the office because we believe that how we work together directly impacts how well we serve our community.
When it comes to coverage, my team and I help customers prepare for everyday risks and unexpected moments alike. From Auto Insurance that helps protect you on the road, to Homeowners Insurance that supports what you’ve worked hard to build, we take time to walk through options and explain how coverage works. We also assist with Life, Renters , Business, and more, offering customized support based on where you are in life and what matters most to you.
As a longtime resident of the West Branch/Rose City area, giving back to the community is incredibly important to me. I proudly support local businesses through my involvement with the West Branch and Rose City Chambers of Commerce, help support students through the West Branch–Rose City Educational Foundation, and volunteer with organizations like the Optimist Club. Outside of the office, I enjoy fishing, cooking, cheering on my favorite sports teams, and spending quality time with my husband, our four children, and two grandkids.
Our pet‐friendly office is always happy to welcome you, and my team and I truly value the relationships we’ve built since opening our doors in 2014. Please stop by or reach out to connect with us—we’d love to help you protect what matters most.
Happy July from State Farm in Rose City, Northern Michigan! As we celebrate America’s 250th, we’re excited to see our community come together—whether you’re enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family, or catching a local event.
Here are a few tips and reminders to help you stay safe and ready all month long—especially with fireworks and farmers market days on the calendar.
Fireworks Safety Reminders (America’s 250th Celebration Mode!)
Fireworks can be fun—but safety matters:
Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby
Never let children handle fireworks
Light one at a time and keep a safe distance
Don’t re-light “duds”—wait and soak them instead
Wear eye protection if you’re close to the display
If you’re hosting a gathering, consider reviewing how your home is protected and if your coverage matches your needs.
Farmers Market Fun: Quick Summer Prep
Enjoy fresh produce and local crafts—just a few practical reminders:
Plan for cooler temperatures (bring an insulated bag if you can)
Wash produce when you get home
If you’re buying dairy or meat, keep items cold promptly
Bring cash or a card and make sure your keys/wallet are secure
Lake & Outdoor Safety (Northern Michigan Essentials)
Summer in the North means being near water—whether it’s a lake, river, or beach:
Wear life jackets (especially for kids and non-swimmers)
Stay alert around docks and boats
Watch for sudden weather changes—storms can move in quickly
Road-Trip & Weekend Travel Tips
Heading out to events? A few quick checks:
Confirm tires are properly inflated
Make sure headlights, brakes, and wipers are in good shape
Keep your phone charged (and if possible, bring a backup charger)
Give yourself extra time—summer traffic can be unpredictable
Storm Readiness for July
Thunderstorms happen fast. Be prepared:
Bring in or secure outdoor items
Know how you’ll get alerts (weather app, notifications, radio)
If power goes out, avoid using appliances until power stabilizes
A Great Time to Review Your Coverage
With summer activities, travel, and home projects, it’s smart to double-check:
Have you added anything new (vehicle changes, equipment, renovations)?
Do your policies still reflect your current life?
Any questions about what’s covered for summer events or seasonal risks?
From fireworks nights to farmers market weekends, we hope you have a safe, happy July celebrating America’s 250th—together.
